Welcome to Vankkurimännikkö, where we offer a wide variety of amenities to ensure a comfortable, enjoyable and secure stay in the midst of beautiful nature.

Upon arrival, you'll find a reception area immediately next to entrance, where you can check in and get information about the site and surrounding area. We also have a convenient kiosk on site for any last-minute necessities you may need, as well as gas sales.

For your convenience, we offer washing up facilities, laundry room with modern appliances, as well as clean and well-maintained toilets, showers and childcare room. Fresh drinking water, electric stove, electric oven and microwave oven are also available for baking and cooking at all times. We also have an outdoor barbecue canopy and three cozy year-round huts, each equipped with fireplace and/or grill for roasting food items.

If you're traveling with children, we have facilities to keep them entertained; let your kids burn off some energy at one of our many playgrounds, featuring swings, slides, and climbing structures. Pedal cars, trampolines, and a bouncy castle are also available for hours of fun.

Of course, our site offers a variety of activities for older children and adults too. Cool off on the beach or try your hand at mini golf. Take to the water with our paddle boats and three SUP boards, or play a game of beach volleyball on one of our two courts. For those who enjoy fishing, we offer fishing opportunities as well. Two rowing boats are available for visitors to the area. One can be found on the area’s own beach and the other in nearby bay Jäähdyslahti.

For indoor entertainment, we offer a multi-purpose space called Huvikumpu ("Fun mound"), which includes toilets, a dance hall, a billiards room, a darts room, a youth area, and a children's playroom. Huvipub ("Fun pub") is open during events, as well as the summer terrace Harald's Pub. The pubs are open on most weekends and occasionally also during sunny summer weekdays. Ask about their opening hours at reception.

Traditional Finnish sauna is available every day in summer season and in winter season during weekends. Our famous sauna village has five different style public saunas where you can relax and freshen up. Public sauna is always included in your stay without extra charge. In addition, there's one sauna available for private bookings with extra fee.

If you're looking for sports and other activities, there's a 9-hole golf course Golf Virrat nearby, as well as a trotting track, shooting range, and motor sports track. Nearby small city Virrat services are only 7 km away, and there's Näsijärvi yacht marina where you can hop on a steam boat to/from Tampere city. In marina area there's also beach and restaurant services. In the center of Virrat is the Pukkivuori skiing center, an ice and sports hall, and a frisbee golf course around the sports hall. In winter, there is also a connection to the national snowmobile route. Venture out into the surrounding area and explore the Toriseva nature trail, Toriseva gorge lakes, and Pirkan taival trekking trail. All of this in the walking distance. National parks Helvetinjärvi and Seitseminen are also only short driving distance away.
